As you probably know, the lost boys were the children in Peter Pan that refused to grow up. It could be argued that my generation was perhaps the last to be able to have that luxury, since the kids of today are forced to grow up, way too fast in fact, thanks to the countless injustices and atrocities they've had to witness. Hence. a sad celebration of being the last to have a choice about whether to grow up or not.
These songs were written as far back as my college years, and recorded between 2012-2016, in my studio in New England that we called Lost Boy Sound. Produced and generally wet-nursed by my terrific, multi-instrumentalist/omni-talented son-in-law Eric Ronick, who provided guidance, training and support in all manners to this project.

Don’t Leave Slowly
In memory of my father’s last days, which have so informed how I want mine to be. Recorded with a couple friends from a couple bands back in college, in a reunion session almost four decades later! One of whom, Stephens Witt, is now a fellow Big Fish Small Pond Music label mate.

It’s Only Me
A song that the amazing wordsmith and friend George Fuller The Third wrote with me. George wrote ad copy for a million products, a dang book about touring with a rapper, a bunch of his own songs...AND he can assemble words to tell you to go to Hell, in such a way that you will actually look forward to the trip.
Kirk-Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Bass, Hambone
Eric Ronick-Vocals, Organ
Lilacs In The Dark
My wife Babette was a one-woman suburban crime spree, never caught or prosecuted. I wonder if the citizens have marveled at how many more blossoms seem to grace that little town’s bushes since we left?
Kirk-Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Bass
Eric Ronick-Piano, Drums
Khalinda You Lied
OK, I had a crush on a tv character, I admit it.
Kirk-Vox, Guitars, Bass, Synth, Percussion
Eric Ronick-Drums, African Hand Drum, Synth
Always Be Remembered
Another co-write with George Fuller The Third. And another about the later years in life. Hmmm.
Kirk-Vox, Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Bass
Eric Ronick-Drums
On And On
First of two that feature my son, Connor. He clearly is receiving his talent from off the planet...and not from his dad. He'll have a release of his own on Big Fish Small Pond Music soon.
Kirk-Vocals, Electric Guitar, Tiple
Eric Ronick-Drums, Vocals
Connor Stirland-Electric Guitar, Bass
Falling Away
My magnus opus, again with Connor blessing it with all the electric guitar stylings.
